Objective, The TangaYetu Initiative aimed to position Tanga as a youth-centered city by fostering partnerships, shaping policy and governance, leveraging data and technology, and promoting local ownership of development programs. The campaign sought to enhance youth engagement, economic empowerment, and community-driven solutions through strategic communication.
Our Role, PRISM Communication was engaged to develop and execute a comprehensive communication strategy for the initiative, ensuring visibility, stakeholder engagement, and message amplification through a mix of digital, mass media, and on-the-ground activations. Our key responsibilities included.
Eight full-length TangaYetu TV episodes aired, showcasing project impact. 41 videos produced, covering success stories and project milestones. 17 audio content pieces produced for mass media uptake. Monthly newsletters and narrated success stories developed and distributed to stakeholders.
